Hello

Fuelled by creativity, and unapologetically passionate about donning the boldest, most eccentric threads, I have been making my outfits since my late teens.
I bring a fusion of historical technique, modern cinematic culture and a penchant for wild fashion, ready to redefine boundaries.
Why save fancy dress for special occasions when you can be fabulous every day?
Welcome to a world of limitless possibilities, where the journey is as exhilarating as the destination, and where every moment is an opportunity to make your mark on the canvas of existence. The only limit is the extent of your imagination.
My story
I fell in love with sewing thanks to my grandmother Nancy. She was forever making my outfits on her hand-crank Singer sewing machine.
Every holiday she would choreography a show with matching costume ready to perform to our parents.
I was all for it where as my sister was painfully shy.
I got my first machine at age 12 and started making fancy dress for us both. As I got older I started creating an everyday wardrobe for myself, and sometimes, if the creation was cool enough, for my kids too once they came along.
Sewing has always been an escape for me when the world has got too loud.
I studied Art and Design in college including dipping my toe into fashion design, but I wasn’t ready to fully embrace the industry yet. But I knew whatever I did with my life, I would need to be doing something creative.
The year 2000 I trained to become a florist. This satisfied my need for colour in my life with the blooms around me, whilst my wardrobe could predominantly be black.
Despite how beautiful working with flowers can be, its a physically exhausting career. In 2016 cruelly I lost my resilience and health and had to walk away from a career I loved.
Depression hit and everything felt grey. That was until I broke out my trusty sewing machine again.
I first started making clothing to match the large collection of Irregular Choice shoes I owned. Then in lockdown 2020, I began expanding my styles to those from the past.
In 2022 my studio was built, and I’ve been locking myself in there like a mad professor ever since whilst I sew and create.
I would love you to join me on my creative process as I share images and photos of my sewing adventures.
