On Friday I was fortunate to be invited to a Regency Soiree at Brighton Museum hosted by the fantastic Zack Pinsent of https://www.pinsenttailoring.co.uk/

The dress code for the evening was Regency, smart casual or something fabulous.

My original plans were obviously to dress fabulously with a cropped teal taffeta jacket and secret pants, but a last minuet kick of confidence and I changed plans.

Instead I opted for a satin backed crepe black gown in the Regency style.

The evening was a fantastic success of music, nibbles and amazing company, and kicked off the start of a weekend I will never forget
