In October 2023 I visited the Watts Gallery in Surrey with members of the Guild of Historical Dress.

The event organisers suggested it would be nice to incorporate the Reformist style that was so popular with the artist.

I chose a coral satin tea dress layered on top of a chemise made of fine silk cotton voile. I dyed this in a soft pink to compliment the overdress.

The outfit was finished with an embroidered trim.
