Each year Prior Attire organise a Victorian picnic to be held at Brighton Beach.

Unfortunately this day usually clashes with the Hasting Pirate day. And as my kids have always been happy to attend with me as pirates, I’ve never managed to get there.

But 2023 this all changed.

We managed an enjoyable get together for a couple of hours before the rain kicked in.

The garment its self was quite baggy, especially in the sleeves. I originally didn’t mind this as I was very anxious about getting too hot on the day and being uncomfortable. For future events I will amend the sleeve pattern as seeing the pictures I was quite disappointed with how it turned out.
